Here's the Club's calendar of events for the remainder of 2026.  

September 2026

• September 10, 2026 – 12:30 pm - Monthly Meeting - Selbyville Historical Society  Building, 11 S. Main Street, Selbyville, DE.

• September 11, 2026 - Operation Seas the Day-We will be at the Food Lion parking lot on Lighthouse Road at 4:30 pm to Welcome Veterans as they travel to Freeman Stage.

• September 17, 2026 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Assemble Backpacks for GFWC International Day of Service (Historical Society Building). Optional lunch afterwards @ On The Way Cafe.

• September 19, 2026 9:00 am - 12:00 noon - Coastal Clean-Up. Location To Be Determined.

• September 26, 2026 - GFWC International National Day of Service Domestic Violence/Sexual Abuse Awareness. Deliver Backpacks to DE Division of Youth Services.

October 2026

• October 7, 2026 – 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Pit & Pub – Selbyville - Dine and Donate Bake Sale w/Friends of the Library.

• October 8, 2026 – 12:30 pm – Monthly Meeting – Selbyville Historical Society Building 11 S. Main Street, Selbyville, DE.

• October 9 – 11, 2026 - GFWC - 2026 Middle Atlantic Region Annual Meeting & Conference, Albany, NY.

• October 22, 2026 – Selbyville Community Club Fundraiser – Bingo at the Selbyville Elks (13308 Dupont Highway, Selbyville, DE). Doors open at 5:30 pm and games start at 7:00 pm.

• October 19, 2026 – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm – Trunk or Treat, Selbyville Fire House.

• October 19 - November 30, 2026 - Coats and Sweats for Vets Collection – Drop off at Selbyville Town Hall.

• October 20, 2026 - 8:30 am - 1:00 pm - Volunteer at Lutheran Community Church Food Pantry, 30897 Omar Rd, Frankford, DE 19945.

• October 29, 2026 – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm - GFWC DE Board Meeting at Abbots on Broad Creek, Laurel, DE.

November 2026

• November 1- 30 – Continue Coats and Sweats for Vets Collection – Drop off at Selbyville Town Hall.

• November 7, 2026 – 8:30 am – 2:00 pm – Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary Craft Fair and Bake Sale – Selbyville Volunteer Fire Department.

• November 10 – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Selbyville Community Club Executive Board Meeting – Selbyville Historical Society Building.

• November 12 – 12:30 pm – Monthly Meeting – Selbyville Historical Society Building, 11 S. Main Street, Selbyville, DE.

• November 13 - GFWC DE Report Writing Workshop – Milton Library, Milton, DE.

• November 17, 2026 8:30 am - 1:00 pm - Volunteer at Lutheran Community Church Food Pantry, 30897 Omar Rd, Frankford, DE 19945.

• November 21, 2026 – 8:00 am - Mountaire Cares – Thanksgiving for Thousands at Mountaire 55 Hoosier Street, Selbyville, DE.

December 2026

• December 1, 2026 – 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Decorate Townsend House (aka Selbyville Historical Society Building) for the Holidays, followed by lunch.

• December 4, 2026 – Selbyville Christmas Parade.

• December 5-6, 2026 – DE Hospice Festival of Trees, Selbyville Historical Society Building. Time tbd.

• December 7, 2026 – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Cookie Exchange and Coats and Sweats for Vets Pick-up - Salem Church.

• December 9, 2026 – Field Trip to GFWC Holiday Open House in Washington, DC. Bus Trip – approximately $75.00 per person.

• December 10, 2026 – 12:30 pm – Monthly Meeting will be the Club’s Holiday Party – Location tbd.  Bring ESO and Individual Project Tracking Forms lists to hand in at party.

• December 15, 2026 - 8:30 am - 1:00 pm - Volunteer at Lutheran Community Church Food Pantry, 30897 Omar Rd, Frankford, DE 19945.

• December 19, 2026 – 10:30 am – 12:00 noon - Wreaths Across America followed by lunch. DE Veterans Memorial Cemetery 26669 Patriots Way.
